Who We Are

A local crew with a field-first approach to getting ground ready.

DR Construction is a site development company based in Amory, Mississippi. We are not built around handoffs, layers of management, or vague promises. We are built around the work itself: showing up, understanding the site, bringing the right equipment, and doing the job in a way that helps everything after us go smoother.

That means clearing land cleanly, building house pads and parking lots that make sense, shaping grades with drainage in mind, handling concrete and landscaping work, and leaving behind a site that feels organized instead of half-finished. From before-and-after cleanup jobs to larger neighborhood site prep, we focus on practical results that hold up in the real world.

Local roots, regional reach We work in the same communities we serve and also take on larger out-of-town site development work.
Owned trucks and equipment Owning our dump trucks helps us move materials faster, control scheduling better, and keep the job moving.
Before-and-after mindset We like work you can see: cleaner sites, better grades, stronger access, and a property brought back to life.

How We Work

The kind of contractor people call when they want the start of the job done right.

Our work style is simple: be prepared, be direct, respect the site, and leave the project in a better position than we found it whether that means a homesite, a parking lot, a driveway refresh, or a larger development.

01

We show up ready

Every project starts with understanding access, elevations, drainage, material needs, and what the next trade will require.

02

We control more of the job

Owned dump trucks and field-ready equipment help us move dirt, rock, and material without depending on excuses from someone else.

03

We handle a wide range of site needs

House pads, grading, land clearing, parking lots, demolition, concrete, landscaping, sod, irrigation, drains, and hauling all fit the way we work.

04

We communicate clearly

No inflated language, no confusing process. Just straightforward conversation about scope, schedule, results, and what the site needs next.

What Clients Can Expect

Clear scope. Solid prep. Cleaner handoff.

The early part of any build can either create momentum or create headaches. We focus on the details that keep a site useful, stable, and ready for what comes next whether that is foundation work, access, finish grade, or a complete property cleanup.

Site planning that matches the project We look at the full picture, not just one isolated task, so pads, parking, drainage, and access all work together.
Drainage, grade, and material flow considered from the start Because moving water the right way matters as much as moving dirt, rock, and base material.
Build-ready and clean-looking results Clean pads, practical access, stronger curb appeal, and fewer surprises for the next crew.
